I used to have a different journal here, but I made a new one after some unpleasantness. (creepy stepdad hacked it and printed it out to pass around...)
I am a California Registered Veterinary Technician. I work in an animal hospital running the anesthesias, assisting in surgeries, reading blood and tissue samples, dental prophalaxis and extractions, taking radiographs, suturing lacerations, etc.
I love to read. I am fat. I have PCOS and am losing my hair so I am also ugly and partially bald. I am a horrible speller. I have hazel eyes. I complain a lot.
I have been a practicing Wiccan for 12 years.
I am really bad at thinking of what to put in bios.
If I could live in one book it would be Harry Potter. But, only if I would have magical abilities too, otherwise it would be just like now except I would be REALLY excluded.
Other books I would consider living in are Spider Robinson's series: Callahan's Crosstime Saloon, Jim Butcher's Harry Dresden series, and as cliche as it sounds... Lord of the Rings.
I absolutely love Ghost Hunters! My dream is to be able to go to Waverly Hills and also to England or Ireland to look for ghosts. Although, I am not sure what I would do if I actually found one....
I am a child of the 80's... a teenager of the 90's..... and an adult that really wishes that I could have been a hippy in the 70's.
I used to believe that any crack or hole in a foundation was a doorway to Fraggle Rock and that mutated turtles who practiced martial arts really did live in the sewers even though I was nowhere near New York. I also believed that Care Bears lived in the clouds and I feared for their lives during thunder storms.
My profile name is a combination of two of my favorite things: Turtles and Fraggles!
